Dream

I had a dream last night. A very weird one. I had a dream that I went to some college, and saw this famous person, and I kept trying to stalk her....or him. I can't remember. Anyways, eventually I gave up, and went walking down a street near my boyfriend's house, and dad caught up with me and said that there was something wrong with my bones. So he took me to this hippie chick doctor and she just casually took slices of my bone out of my arm and handed one of them to me and I was like "woah". It was pretty cool. And then I was in some board walk town by the sea, and I had to take care of some animals for a circus. In stead of doing that, though, I walked out and started walking around in this suburban area and saw some canvassers from Texas Campaign for the Environment. I wished them luck and kept walking and I saw my old friend Halen. I tried to avoid her, but she saw me and followed me around. I showed her this weird thing I could do with my arm and she was also like "woah". And then I got some alert that my ex from years ago, Sam, had made a post about me on Facebook, and I saw him sitting at some Thanksgiving dinner laughing with his friends about me. And then I woke up.

Dad's House

I have to sleep in this big lazyboy chair here at dad's house. It keeps sliding up. Boo.

It's been a week since I posted... That means I'm dead, right?

I was gone for a week. Problem? Deal with it.

So I've been trolling Craigslist for about three days straight now, and I've come up with two cleaning jobs, and one interview. The interview is for HostGator. I'm going to post about both of the jobs, because, well, both of them seem a little shady.. or as I like to call it, interesting!

The first (for Tuesday) is for a lady. She wants us to clean out a condo she owns for someone moving into it. This lady is a talker. It took us about 20 minutes to establish what I'd be doing, where I'd be doing, and how much I would be paid. That usually should take about 5 minutes. However, she claims to have tons of connections, and (if I do a good job) wants to hire me to clean some of her condos later on down the line, which would be AWESOME.

The second guy (for Wednesday) is much shadier. In our e-mail discourse he asked if I could do "massages", and I promptly replied that no, I have no idea how to "massage" and would it be okay if I brought my assistant (read: bodyguard)? He said yes, that it would be fine, and that we'd reschedule for Wednesday.

Then, on Thursday, I have an interview for a tech support job or possibly more for HostGator. They're really cool, and they get great reviews on glassdoor, so I hope that goes well. My only concern is that a real part time job might require me to do more hours than I can put in with my school schedule.

My Summer Schedule

This is my school schedule for this summer. Let's take a look. If you look under units (semester hours, credits, whatever), it will show that I have 6 classes at 3 credits each. That's 18 credits. That is 18 hours. What this chart doesn't show you, though, is that two of those classes are accelerated courses.. as in they last half of the semester each. So I've got one for the first half of the semester, and one for the second half. That means that at any given moment I will only have five classes at once. And one of them will be extremely fast paced, if not two or three of them. I did check all of those professors on ratemyprofessors.com, and all of them got excellent reviews, so this should be all right. A work load this big with bad professors would be impossible, but I think I can manage this. Especially since five of them are distance education (online) classes. I'll be busy this summer. And this fall.
So yeah. That to the left there is this fall. That MoTuWeThFr class is a literature class for a mini session. I think it lasts from December 19th to January 19th? It's just a very, very short session. But I really, really love literature, and that professor got around 7 pages of good reviews, so I'm going to take the plunge there. It'll seem like a lot less of a work load because I'll only have 4 classes at a time with one of them being half of a semester again, and then that accelerated course right after finals week.

So what is the purpose of such a heavy work load, you ask? Well, you see, if I do this, that means that I can have my associate's in science by either next summer or fall, depending on how the financial aid levels out.

Other News

Why haven't I uploaded my new let's play yet? Well, I've been playing Paper Mario, and sucking, but I've gotten a LOT better since I started. So, much to what I'm sure will be your satisfaction, I am going to make/try to upload another today. Let's see how it goes, huh?

I am giving up on Beauty and the Beast!

Seriously that game is horrible. Instead I'll be doing Paper Mario, because that game is much, much less horrible.

And because this post is so short and I need more actual content, here's a wonderful cover by Pomplamoose:

My LP is up!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaawn.

Good morning Blogspot. Guess what? Today I get to go to Stephen's house. "Well why are you making this post and not at his house giving him cuddles?" You ask? Well. He needs his sleep. And it's sort of ungodly how early I had to get up today to drive mom to work. Sort of. My yawns are off the CHAIN dawg.

In other news, I recently started playing Paper Mario on this N64 emulator I have. It is SO GREAT. See, I've played this once before using a different ROM and it was all kinds of fucked up. The words were all gobbly gook, so I couldn't understand what was going on at all. Plus the combat system pretty much requires that you be able to read what you're doing so it was pure luck I was even able to fight bowser in the introduction scene. So yeah, thank goodness this one is written in plain English. I was so lost the first time.
